Detergent products contain synthetic ingredients that may have a negative impact on your dog’s health and well-being, according to a new report.
The results come from a new survey of more than 1,200 U.S. consumers.
Among those surveyed, the top 10 detergent brands were all organic and made by companies with no history of contamination with synthetic chemicals, such as those used to make Advil and Crest toothpaste.
But the most popular brands, according the survey, are made by multinational companies with global operations, such like China National Chemical Corporation, Dow Chemical Co., and BASF AG, the world’s biggest food producer.
